No. One Greyin account signs you in to all six platforms (DeepEdge, FlexPro, StackWorks, Salt & Pepper, GreyMatters and Longlist), and your profile and Greyin Score follow you across them.

Greyin is a preview build. Much of the activity you see is seeded demonstration data, not real users. The banner at the top of each page says so.

Yes. The demo picker on the Greyin homepage signs you in as a sample persona with one click. Demo accounts are shared and cannot be deleted.

DeepEdge is the hiring platform: companies post jobs and find candidates, and candidates apply. FlexPro is a freelance marketplace for verified experts (gigs, client jobs and mentoring). StackWorks lets senior Builders post real project asks that Supporters apply to, earning a verified record of what they shipped. Salt & Pepper is the senior peer community (discussions, groups, events). GreyMatters is the technical blog and newsletter. Longlist is for future roles that companies expect to open in 3 to 12 months, posted anonymously.

When a candidate signs up on DeepEdge, a purely informational preview shows which privileges their years of experience unlocks before they create the account. It never blocks signup.

Yes. The Hub has a Pivoting track for career changers and a Returning to Work track for people coming back after a career gap, each matching members with employers open to them.

Not yet. Greyin is a website with a layout that adapts to phones and tablets, so you can use every platform and sign in from your mobile browser. There is no native iOS or Android app at the moment.

An evidence-based reputation score built from what you actually do across the platforms, such as verified project outcomes, customer reviews, post quality and peer upvotes. It is not something you can type in.

The leaderboard ranks the biggest score gains for the current season or the last 30 days. You appear only if you join, and only as your first name and last initial. Leaving deletes the history we kept for it.

A Verified Expert has 12 or more years of experience, or a Greyin Score of 75 or higher. Signing up and browsing are free for everyone. Verified Expert status is required for active privileges such as joining Salt & Pepper and industry groups, posting discussions there, becoming a mentor, and applying to jobs.

Each platform contributes a pillar score from real evidence, and the overall Greyin Score is 85% a weighted blend of those pillar scores plus 15% for your years of experience (counted up to 20 years). You need evidence on at least one platform to have a score. Pillars in which more members are scored carry more weight. Because it is an average, a weak pillar can pull the overall score down as well as a strong one lifting it. Peer-confirmed project ratings are shown as a separate peer score and are not part of the Greyin Score. A score cannot be typed in or bought.

StackWorks: the average score of your verified project outcomes. FlexPro: your average seller rating from customer reviews. Salt & Pepper: upvotes on your projects. GreyMatters: the average quality score of your published posts. Peer-confirmed projects: the average contribution rating your teammates give you, shown as a separate peer score.

With little evidence, a pillar score is pulled toward the platform average so that one lucky or unlucky result cannot swing it. As you add more evidence in that pillar, your own results count for more and the score moves toward your real performance.

Add real evidence in more than one place: deliver StackWorks project outcomes that get verified, earn FlexPro reviews with good delivery, publish quality GreyMatters posts, and share projects that peers upvote in Salt & Pepper. Keep your experience years on your profile up to date, since they make up 15% of the score. Log off-platform projects too: teammates' ratings build a separate peer score that employers can see, though it does not count toward the 75. Strong results anywhere raise the blend, and weak ones can lower it, so quality matters more than volume.

There is no shortcut, because scores come from verified evidence. The most direct routes are verified StackWorks outcomes as a Supporter, well-reviewed FlexPro work, and quality GreyMatters posts. The overall score is an average of your pillar scores plus 15% for experience years, so a few strong results do more than many weak ones. Years of experience count too: 12 or more makes you a Verified Expert without any score at all.

The score needs evidence on at least one platform: a verified StackWorks outcome, a FlexPro review, a scored GreyMatters post, or Salt & Pepper upvotes. Until then no score is shown rather than a misleading zero. Peer-confirmed project ratings alone do not create an overall score.

Log work you did outside Greyin from your dashboard and tag your teammates. Once they confirm it, they can rate your contribution, and those ratings form your peer score. The peer score is shown next to your Greyin Score but is separate from it, so it does not count toward the 75 threshold. Creation limits and a required attestation keep it trustworthy.

People you have worked with can endorse specific skills and write short recommendations, which appear on your profile and can be included on your personal page. You can also request references from people who know your work.

Yes. A FlexPro account with no active plan gets 3 free gig or client-job posts, once. After that, posting needs a plan.

Freelancers list gigs and apply to client jobs; clients hire them. Orders are paid through Razorpay and held until delivery is accepted, and either side can raise a dispute on an order. Experienced members can also offer mentoring sessions.

Mentors publish session slots, sometimes with several seats for a group session, and members book and pay for a slot. Becoming a mentor is reserved for Verified Experts.

You get 3 free gig or client-job posts once. After that, posting is limited by your plan tier, and each tier has its own posting allowance.

Describe your gig clearly (the AI quality assist checks your listing when you post it), deliver on time, communicate through the order thread and revise when asked. Your average seller rating from reviews is what feeds your FlexPro score.

Listing yourself as a paid mentor on FlexPro is reserved for Verified Experts (12 or more years, or a Greyin Score of 75). Once eligible, you publish session slots, optionally with several seats for a group session, and members book and pay for them.

On your Greyin dashboard, in the referral card. It is a permanent code, and the card shows how many people have joined through it.

On DeepEdge, FlexPro, StackWorks, Salt & Pepper and Longlist, use the bell icon in the top bar. It shows a badge for unread items and works the same way on each of those platforms.

You can message people from the chat panel. A first message to someone you have not worked with is a message request that they must accept before you can keep chatting, and you can send up to 15 requests a day. You can also block someone or report a conversation.

Yes. From your Greyin dashboard you can generate a personal site from your profile and portfolio data.

Yes. Use the theme toggle in the header on any platform. Your choice is remembered.

Open the sign-in page of any Greyin platform, choose the forgot-password option and enter your email. We send you a reset code by email to set a new password. The help assistant cannot reset passwords for you, and nobody at Greyin will ask for your password.

Open Privacy & data settings and choose Download my data. You get a JSON file of what Greyin holds about you across all platforms.

Request it from Privacy & data settings with your password. There is a 14-day grace period in which you can cancel. Your personal data is then erased and you are signed out everywhere. Orders and payouts are kept for accounting without your identity. Active subscriptions, unpaid payouts, orders in progress and upcoming mentor sessions must be resolved first.

Use the Report option on a company review, a direct-message conversation or a GreyMatters comment. Reports go to our moderators, and the most serious are reviewed first. You can also block someone from a conversation.

Reports go to a moderation queue that is ordered by severity, so threats and content reported by several people are reviewed first. A moderator resolves or dismisses each report. You can also block a person from a conversation, which is reversible from Blocked users.

Check the status page. It shows whether each platform is up, its uptime over 24 hours and 30 days, and how many people are visiting.

Payments are processed through Razorpay. Gig and mentor-session orders are held until the work is delivered or the session takes place; if something goes wrong, you can open a dispute on the order.

Orders paid on the platform are held until delivery is accepted, and either side can open a dispute that the team reviews with a recorded rationale. That protection and the reviews that build your score only apply to work done and paid through Greyin.

Browse open jobs on DeepEdge (salary ranges are shown on listings), save the ones you like, and apply from the job page. You can withdraw an application later from My Applications. AI helpers can draft a cover letter, tailor your resume and prepare you for interviews, and some jobs ask screening questions.

Employers create a company account on DeepEdge, post jobs, and can close or reopen a listing at any time. They can browse candidate profiles, review applications and message candidates. Posting jobs requires an active hiring plan.

DeepEdge has 12 industry groups such as Financial Services, Healthcare and Manufacturing. Each group page shows the open roles in that industry and recent discussions. Anyone can browse; joining is for Verified Experts, and conversations happen in Salt & Pepper.

Yes. Job listings on DeepEdge show a salary range, and DeepEdge has a salary trends page where you can also watch a role and location.

Builders post real project asks. Supporters apply and do the work, and successful work becomes a verified, named record of what they shipped that feeds into their Greyin Score. Peers can also confirm off-platform projects from the dashboard.

When a Supporter completes a Builder's project ask, the result is verified and becomes a named record of what they shipped, with a score. The average of your verified outcome scores is your StackWorks score, and it is one of the strongest ways to build your Greyin Score.

Salt & Pepper is the senior peer community: discussions, interest groups, events and AMAs. Anyone can browse. Posting, joining groups and messaging members are reserved for Verified Experts.

GreyMatters is the technical blog. Members with 12 or more years of experience can write as authors; everyone else can read, comment and follow. It has an RSS feed and a newsletter you can subscribe to.

Posts are checked for quality before and after publishing, and the average quality score of your posts feeds your GreyMatters score. Write original, specific, well-structured technical posts. Thin or repetitive posts lower the average.

Companies post roles they expect to open in 3 to 12 months, anonymously. Members subscribe to roles they are interested in, or let AI surface them to roles that fit where their career is headed. Only the posting company sees who subscribed.

Nine actions are reserved for Verified Experts (12 or more years of experience, or a Greyin Score of 75 or higher): applying to jobs on DeepEdge; listing yourself as a paid mentor on FlexPro; posting a discussion or reply, joining a group, messaging a member and appearing in the member directory on Salt & Pepper; subscribing to a future role on Longlist; posting as a Builder on StackWorks; and publishing posts as an Author on GreyMatters. Everything else, including signing up, browsing and most other features, is open to everyone.

Longlist checks each role against its own expected hiring date. Your years of experience are projected forward to that date, so someone with 10 years today may already qualify for a role that opens in two or more years. Other actions check your experience and score as of today.

A lot is open to you. Browse and read on every platform. On FlexPro you can list gigs, apply to client jobs and hire freelancers. On StackWorks you can join as a Supporter, apply to real project asks and build a verified record. On GreyMatters you can read, comment and follow. On DeepEdge you can build your profile, save jobs, use the AI helpers and explore salary trends. You can also log off-platform projects and have teammates rate them, which appears as a separate peer score. StackWorks outcomes, FlexPro reviews, GreyMatters posts and Salt & Pepper project upvotes build the Greyin Score, and a score of 75 makes you a Verified Expert.

You can complete your profile and resume, browse every job with its salary range, save jobs, set job alerts, use the AI cover-letter, resume and interview-prep helpers, follow salary trends,. Applying itself is reserved for Verified Experts, so the fastest path is building your Greyin Score through StackWorks outcomes, FlexPro reviews or GreyMatters posts.

Freelancing is open: list gigs, apply to client jobs, deliver work and collect reviews. Clients can hire and post client jobs. Only listing yourself as a paid mentor needs Verified Expert status. Completed orders and good reviews raise your FlexPro score, which counts toward your Greyin Score.

Join as a Supporter. Supporters apply to Builders' real project asks and do the work, and each verified outcome becomes a named record that feeds your Greyin Score. Posting project asks as a Builder is the part reserved for Verified Experts.

You can browse discussions, groups, events and the member list for free. Posting, joining groups, messaging members and appearing in the directory are reserved for Verified Experts. To get there, build your Greyin Score elsewhere, for example through StackWorks outcomes, FlexPro reviews or GreyMatters posts.

Yes. Anyone can read posts, comment, follow authors, use the RSS feed and subscribe to the newsletter. Publishing as an Author is reserved for Verified Experts.

You can browse the anonymous future roles that companies have posted. Subscribing to a role needs Verified Expert status, checked against that role's projected hiring date.

Turn on the shareable Verified Score badge on your DeepEdge profile page. It gives you a public link that shows your score breakdown to anyone, with no login, and nothing else: no reviews, project titles or activity details. It is opt-in, the link stays the same if you switch it off and on again, and while it is off the page simply does not exist.

On your Greyin dashboard, open the personal site builder. Step 1: choose what to include from your Greyin data, such as your role and skills, employment history, recommendations, verified StackWorks outcomes, completed FlexPro orders, GreyMatters posts and peer-confirmed projects. Step 2: pick a theme (Classic, Modern, Minimal or Bold). Step 3: choose your page address, greyin.net/your-name, and publish. You can switch it off at any time.

Put your Greyin page link in your resume, email signature, LinkedIn and proposals. The page shows your Greyin Score and the verified evidence behind it, such as StackWorks outcomes, FlexPro completions and peer-confirmed projects, so a reader sees results from real activity, not self-claims. Keep it current by adding new outcomes and posts, and share the score badge when you only want to show the number.

Complete your profile and keep your experience years accurate. Build evidence, not claims: deliver work, ask teammates to confirm and rate projects, and publish useful posts. Keep conversations and payments on the platform so order protection and dispute review apply. Answer message requests promptly, report content that breaks the rules instead of engaging with it, and use the feedback form for ideas.

Do not create duplicate or fake accounts (disposable email domains are rejected, and accounts sharing a signup address are flagged for review). Do not spam message requests (there is a limit of 15 new requests a day). Do not share your password, and do not type personal details into the help assistant. Do not post abusive, threatening or scam content: it is reported, ranked by severity and reviewed. Do not try to game scores, because they come from verified evidence and ratings by real teammates and customers.

Please use one account. Signups from disposable email domains are rejected, and accounts that share a signup address are flagged for admin review to keep scores and reviews trustworthy.
