What we collect
Account details (name, email, password or Google sign-in), profile information you add (experience, skills, projects), and the activity that builds your Greyin Score (applications, completed work, peer confirmations, and similar real interactions) across the platforms you use. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google — we never see your Google password.
How we use it
To run the platform: showing your profile to other users as each platform’s function requires, computing your Greyin Score, matching you to relevant jobs or gigs, processing payments, and sending you account-related emails. We use AI to help with things like match explanations and content suggestions — the underlying data (your score, your applications) is always computed by our own systems, not invented by a model.
What we share
We share your profile with other users as each platform’s normal functioning requires — for example, an employer sees your application. We don’t sell your personal data. We use service providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) who process data on our behalf under their own security obligations.
Your controls
You can review and update your profile information at any time from your account settings, and request account deletion, which removes your personal data per our retention obligations (for example, payment records we’re legally required to keep). Some information, like an optional age range, is visible only to you and feeds aggregate fairness reporting only — never shown to other users individually.
Security
We use row-level access controls so your data is only reachable by the people and systems that need it, and we run regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, and we’ll notify you if a breach affects your data.

We may update this policy as the platform changes. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date above.
